Not all posts appearing post-import

    Hello all,
    I’m tearing my hair out on this one. I’ve got a new WordPress setup that I’ve imported about 800 posts from Typepad. All the posts show up and are well formated in the admin tool, but only a small percentage (maybe 20%) appear in the published posts. When I go into a specific category all the posts that should be listed are listed there, they just don’t show up in the main blog.

    I can’t spot a difference between the published and unpublished posts so I’m looking for tips on where I could look. Any help is much appreciated!

    What is the status of those posts that are not published? Is it any of Pending review or draft or private?

    Thanks for the response. Unfortunately the confusing part is that all of the posts are set as published.

    I figured it out…at some point a line was added to the template that excluded one category of post. I have no idea why it was in there, but it was rejecting a good deal of the total posts. In any case, mystery solved!
