Not adding emails to MailChimp

I love the plug-in and the pop-up window. I have a problem, though. About 60% of the emails that MailMunch records do not get added to my MailChimp list. It’s a double-opt list and the users are simply not receiving the confirmation email.
I have 2 MailMunch pop-ups. (I used to have both versions of the plug-in as well, but deleted one). One is a toolbar pop-up and that one always works. The second is the pop-up by link, which is getting many more sign-ups and the main one I need, but the majority of the emails that box records are getting stranded. I’ve been manually adding them to my list and manually sending them the welcome email, with great open and click rates.
Since the toolbar form works and only the pop-up form is acting up, I assume the problem is on MailMunch’s end. Any ideas?
