Considering the above-mentioned information, If the test email is been sent successfully but not delivered, in this case, we might first need to check the FROM email address being used.
Could you please go through the Incorrect FROM headers section of this documentation(Point 2) and see if this helps.
Also, please check & confirm the Spam folder(Inbox > Spam).

I have successfully set up cron job. test email is working fine however couple of days back I have published new post and it was delivered to only few email ids. Status is showing single tick with time but fact is that it is not delivered.
