My client purchased a commercial license of FlowPlayer and I figured since this was one of your products, this would work.

Every time I upload (and I’ve uploaded different formats of the same video from flv through mp4), it says: No video with supported format or MIME type found.

I cannot insert a freaking video and I’m getting very, very frustrated.

I even uploaded it directly to the server, bypassing the media upload and still the same error message.

I then tried the manual install instructions even though this is a WordPress installation and all I get is the spinning circles like something is trying to load.

I’m at my wits end and I must say, that I’ve NEVER had as much trouble with a plugin as I have had with this one.

The site is currently running HanaFlv player plugin and it recognizes the video but I can’t use the custom logo that the client wants to use, which he thought we could use because he purchased a license.

Please help me resolve this issue!

These forums are not for commercial products but only the free versions of plugins downloaded from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

Please try contacting the plugin’s developer or license vendor directly for issues related to commercial versions.

I am speaking about your plugin FlowPlayer5! That’s what I’m using and it’s not recognizing my format.

I thought this plugin would work since it was supposed to be compatible with the FlowPlayer commercial license and it’s not working as I described above. I was just giving you all the background on the issue.

So once again, I’m using THIS plugin and it’s telling me “No video with supported format or MIME type found.”

Is that clearer?

I have tried both a .flv and .mp4. Neither work.

.flv will not work as it is not supported. These are the supported formats.

I find it strange that mp4 is not working. Do you think you could share a screenshot of the error that you get?

I am not sure what the issue is as the video worked on my site. I am working on a big update. Till then you could just use this shortcode.
