    There’s not many systems out there that do what this does. This plugin doesn’t do it very well. If you click on a button and put a note on it, the whole section is highlighted. Not great when a client’s message is ‘delete this’.

    The filter for the table in the feedback section doesn’t work, so it’s not possible to filter to see the notes for a single page. It would be better if it was possible to sort by page at least.

    Hi Jason, the free version of the plugin defaults to a HTML element selector for pinning comments.

    Our philosophy is that it should be easy and clear to select what you want to pin comments to. If the selector is selecting a larger section, its possible you have malformed HTML on your page. I’d be happy to look at the specific site you tested this on to see if its a bug in the plugin or an issue with the theme and either way find a solution.

    The paid version has several more options for pinning comments including floating pins, rectangle selectors, drawing, and more.

    As to the filtering, I will work on this and push an update later this week. I will report back here when it’s available.
