nooby help needed with creating drop down menu

I’m trying to create a sub menu. I’ve created the Home page menu with five options one of the options is Services – I now want Services to have drop down options, the first would be Little Events. I’ve created the Page ‘Little Events’ and have assigned ‘Services’ as the Parent but when I refresh and hover over ‘Services’ the sub item of ‘Little Events’ doesn’t appear. Where am I going wrong?
