I was wondering if there is an option to generate numeric (or even alphanumeric) ticket numbers, instead of using QR codes. My organization typically just prints a spreadsheet and uses those numbers to check people off as they arrive.

Unfortunately, there will be no internet access at our location, and using paper logs would be much easier than requiring an electronic device at the entrance.

First apologies for the late reply!

One idea is that you can choose to place the Order Number on the ticket. you would still have QR code, but if you use a WooCommerce ORder Number that is sequential, that would help.

Another idea is to just use the Attendee Report, which comes with OTCE for free, to print before your shows.

You can sort and then print by Alphabetical or Order NUmber. There’s a print friendly version and also a CSV export, so you can use either to print and check people off.

Some of our larger customers use this as a backup for the Ushers before a show. That way if a patron forgets a ticket, they can just come to Usher and show Id, and be directed to their seat.

It’s also useful for ‘offline’ events. We have a shakespeare festival in the boonies without wifi and even difficult phone coverage. They use the Printed Attendees report.

While we like digital tickets, sometimes the answer of paper is still a good one.

    Hope this helps.
