non-image files (document library?)

This might be a bad idea but I figured it’s worth a shot…

I really like WPPA, being able to very finely customize the look and feel, and in particular the front end upload capability.

I run a membership site, and we currently use a document library plugin which does not quite meet our needs.

It occurred to me that it would be ideal to use WPPA for this purpose — to let logged-in users upload documents to share via the front end, and to display these in a gallery layout. However, it seems that I can’t upload non-image files to WPPA.

Is it possible you’d consider adding this functionality? I realize this is kind of a long shot, so no worries if not.
