Hi, I was creating a role for somebody to edit a few things for me and I noticed that when I logged in to the account before giving them access to the account. It gave the account the option for them to link their WordPress account to my site, I looked through the entire permissions and there is not a single one for anything to do with the jetpack plugin. Please help, thank you.

Can I get an answer as to if this is just on my end or do you guys not support the Jetpack plugin?

    Hi @thedailytheorist

Sorry for a bit slow response to your question.

The Members plugin doesn’t have a section for each plugin. Plugin authors can add admin areas using any capability they want, including custom capabilities. If you know which capabilities are required to access the Jetpack plugin’s area, you can assign those capabilities to a user/role.

Thank you for your reply, and I hope I didn’t seem rude. So just to clarify, the capabilities are there I just need to find out which capability controls the Jetpack plugin side? If this is the case, I would consider this problem solved. Thank you again for your time and the helpful response!

Yes, that’s correct. You need to check which capability controls Jetpack.
