no woocommerce widgets in dashboard

    i have installed woocommerce and it works ok, however i don’t have and woocommerce widgets in the admin dashboard, this theme seems to be compatible with woocommerce, woo widgets are there but no widget area to put them into.

    Hi,
    well woocommerce, as far as I know, doesn’t register a new widget area itself, so .. it’s not that this theme doesn’t allow it ..
    Or did you mean something different?
    Am I missing something?

    you normally get woocommerce widgets when it’s installed like woocommerce sidebar and woocommerce single sidebar

    I have woocommerce widgets I don’t have these sidebars, but also with twentyfifteen.
    Are we talking about widget areas, right?
    So you expected that this theme provided woocommerce widget areas when woocommerce is installed?

    so you have the widgets and not the widget areas for the woocommerce widgets to go into, i also have the widgets but not the sidebars for them to go into.
    I can put woocommerce widgets into default sidebar but not shop sidebar as there is no woocommerce sidebar

    Yes, and it’s not about the theme, I think you have to build your Shop sidebar on your own.
    But.. you better ask to woocommerce plugin support forum and if they say it’s this theme fault let me know 😉
