Under P3 -> Help -> “Is my site using an opcode optimizer?” … what does the answer say?
Hi Kurt, thank you for the prompt reply!
Here is what it says:
P3 has not detected any opcode optimizers on your site. Although none were detected, an opcode optimizer may still be present. Contact your server administrator with any questions.
I don’t know what question I should ask my provider, but I’m worried that because its a shared hosting environment, I doubt I can change any settings :((
What version of php are you using?
What web server are you using?
Thanks!
PHP Version 5.3.28
Webserver: Apache
Okay, looks like it’s not an opcode optimizer problem and not a php5.2 bug … what exactly is going on?
Hi Kurt,
Well, I’ve installed the plugin and tried to use it to get a performance report. I tried all the possible combinations of settings and turning off plugins and still cannot get it to work.
I’d really like to get this plugin working but I don’t know what left I can do.
Hi ecoevolver,
Can you send a screenshot? The two biggest problems are that something is wrong with recording the data (problem with php, extensions, proxy in the way, etc.) or something is wrong with the UI (theme / plugin putting extra CSS/JS on the page).
Have you used the debug mode in P3 to see if it’s getting any traffic at all on your site?
Can you put up a phpinfo page and e-mail it to kpayne -at- godaddy -dot- com?
Just sent you an email, thank you.
Hi ecoevolver,
Thanks for corresponding over e-mail with me. I found the bug that was causing P3 not to work on your site. I’ve released a fix in P3 1.5.2.
