Can you post a link and steps to see this happen? Not 100% clear what you mean.
Here’s a link
If I click on a product and then hit “add to cart” it does show a “view cart” button at the top of the product page.
But let’s say I backtrack or go searching for other items and I decide not to get anything else, there’s no clear way to go back to view your cart. It would be nice if on the products index page there could be a view cart button.
The only way I can see now to get to my cart is to add another item (and then delete it if I don’t want it, retaining my original item.) I think this would confuse and frustrate shoppers.
Thanks,
Jane
Why not add the cart link to the navigation, or add a sidebar with cart widget?
Great idea.
I didn’t realize the URL was just /cart.
Maybe this is a dumb question but if the URL is so non-specific, how can different users have different cart contents?
Because we track carts with a cookie/session.
i add cart page and check out page. and also set into the setting. but if i view cart or try to check out.not show the page?
I’m working in localhost
jimsell please start your own thread – this is resolved. Before you do that, ensure FORCE SSL is off in checkout settings.
