It would be nice to have a Title field about the converter to break up the side bar a bit. Since I have an ad running right above it, the converter appears close to the ad, so a title would really help.

You can edit the Title option, but it requires changing wp-currency-converter.php. Uncomment the title line. Can email me you the option

I will put this option back into the plugin next release
