Hi @nicklamb ,
Thanks for the details. Since the URL is a local site, I’m unable to access it from my side.
Could you please send me a screenshot of the issue and the ReviewKit Grid settings? This will help me check why the ReviewKit styles are not being applied with Bricks.
Thanks!
Hi @nicklamb ,
Thanks for reaching out.
This happens because ReviewKit usually checks the standard WordPress page content (post_content) for shortcodes to load its styling and scripts. However, Bricks Builder stores page content in its own custom structure, so ReviewKit wasn’t detecting the shortcode and failed to load the necessary CSS styles on your page.
We have updated our plugin to fix this issue! Instead of searching through post_content, ReviewKit now directly loads the assets whenever the widget or shortcode is rendered. This ensures that the grid styles, graphics, and layout render correctly no matter where or how you place the shortcode in Bricks.
Please download the dev version of ReviewKit from here https://drive.google.com/file/d/17UrVFLg-2lZozR7NKJhue65MEsSksY6M/view?usp=sharing and update it , and everything should look right. Let us know if you need any further help!
Best regards,
Hridoy Mozumder
That’s great – works perfectly now, thank you!
If I had one tiny gripe – the plugin should sit lower on the WP Dashboard menu. Right after posts is too high; it should be down below Settings, with most other plugins. Other than that – I love it!
