    Give it a second.

    I just uninstalled the plugin on my MU site and it took about 15 seconds to initialize for the first time.

    I has to check to see if you fail the spam check to make sure you don’t lock yourself out. After that, your IP should be in the white list and it should load instantly.

    Would it be possible to show something more reassuring than a white screen while that initial check is being done?

    There may be an issue with one of the dnsbl checks taking a long long time to answer. I am exploring this right now.

    I may take out the check on install altogether.
