Where you able to generate an index for the pages and posts on the site?

Yes, the site was indexed. But still no search results appear.
@simplycharly
How many posts are in the index?
What is the active theme on the site?
State of the Index
Documents in the index: 1121
Terms in the index: 211316

Not sure. And this may be a little too technical for me to understand.
Our theme does have a search feature as you can see from our site at https://simplycharly.com.
When I search at your site, for example for “dickens“, I see search results that look very much like something provided by Relevanssi. So looks like the search works. What are you searching for when the search provides no results?
Can you show me a screenshot of what you see?
Anything more I can try on this? I tested Dave’s Autocomplete plugin and it works just fine. Not sure why Relevanssi doesn’t.
Dave’s Autocomplete and Relevanssi do completely different things, so comparing them doesn’t make much sense.
But now I get it. Here’s what I see when I search for “Dickens”: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9585896/simplycharly.jpg
But you mean the autocomplete dropdown – that indeed says “No results found”. Relevanssi doesn’t have an autocomplete feature, and isn’t compatible with most of those plugins. For an autocomplete that works with Relevanssi, you can use SearchWP Live AJAX Search – that one works great with Relevanssi.
I managed to fix the Autocomplete issue by installing your suggested plugin – SearchWP Live AJAX Search. But I can’t seem to remove the NO SEARCH RESULTS message. Not sure why this keeps displaying. It may be a remnant from on of the other autocomplete plugins I tested before. Can you help me fix this issue so that that message disappears?
I tried to poke around your website, but I have no idea what is causing it. Have you disabled all the other autocomplete plugins? Perhaps it’s a feature of your theme?
