do you have sample link to your event with open booking for us to see and analyze please? we tried your calendar and could not find open bookings.
thx
@angelo_nwl, that is her whole issue… All events are closed for bookings, even though the event dates are in the future scope 😉
The notice your website shows is the “Bookings Closed” feedback message. That means that EM thinks the deadline for bookings has passed (cut-off).
When you go the Edit Event Page, scroll down to the Ticket Options.
The colored block in front of the ticket name should be green, meaning that ticket is available.
If it’s red, check the “Available until” (by clicking “Edit” below the ticket name). Also check the Event Options BookingCut-off Date (“Vervaldatum reservering”)
Both should not be in the past. If they are, EM will think it has to close the booking form. 😉
@duisterdenhaag I know and just wanted to make sure because some parts are abit confusing “when someone tries to put a reservation, event manager says that there aren’t places available,”
LOL, some things get lost in translation, indeed 😀
Hi @angelo_nwl and @duisterdenhaag, Patrick is right, i (and others) simply can’t make a booking, so i can’t show you a sample link to the event with open booking. @duisterdenhaag the first think i did indeed was to go the bookingCut-off Date, some were in the past, but now they are all in the right date, and still it does not work. any other suggestion? Thanks!
greetings, Nathalie
Hi Nathalie,
Just in case… 😉 I noticed you are using the non-Dutch time (12H instead of 24H) & date formatting. Please make sure you are using d-m-Y in WordPress > Dashboard > General as well as Date & Time Settings in EM.
By default WP uses m/d/Y and so to “us Dutch” is may appear as 3 September (03-09), while WP might think it’s March 9th (09/03).
Please check, just to rule this out 🙂
@duisterdenhaag Thanks!Time setting was the problem! It works now 🙂
Glad I could help 🙂 And most of all, that it got solved.
Could you please mark this topic as “resolved” then? 🙂
