NO RED BORDER around input fields on validation failure

    CF7 displays the response text validation error message at the bottom of the form but doesn’t produce the red border around input fields on validation failure.
    I have tried disabling all the plugin’s and also switching to the wordpress default theme to troubleshoot, but just can’t get it to work. I have tried custom codes too but haven’t had any luck.
    I’m using Avada theme. I want the red border to show around the input fields on validation failure. What could be going wrong?

    I see your form uses the Avada theme, which is known for applying at lot of very specific CSS styling that overwrites CF7’s default error message styling.

    I recommend you contact your theme provider for assistance on this.

    Can you please suggest a code that I can put in my functions.php that will force the theme to honor the CF7 default and/or custom styling and/or validation for the form?
