I think I was on 1.6x
Could you post a screenshot of your Facebook application advanced settings?
Facebook Developers > Apps > (Click your App) > Edit App > Settings – Advanced.
Those two settings are especially important.
App Type: Web
Require AppSecret Proof for Server API calls: Disabled
I have the app type as native/desktop cause we also use it for our mobile applications. Let me check with the guys if it there’s an implication if we change it to web. But it used to work with the previous version of the plugin.
It stopped working for me too with the upgrade. Disappointing. All my configuration check out, too. Did I see somewhere that you no longer allow connection to personal Facebook pages?

App Type: Web – fixes the issue.

Great! If you can’t use “desktop” as a setting, you could always create a new application to use to fetch your Facebook posts. The application doesn’t even have to be public, it can stay in Sandbox mode and will work just fine.
@mdrapkin, Could you post a screenshot of your advanced settings? The app will work for personal profiles to a certain extent but I dropped support for that a long time ago since there were too many support requests related to privacy issues I could do nothing about. Got no time for that, sorry..

Yes, that’s exactly why I stopped supporting personal profiles. There was too much diversity and external factors to take into account. I might give it another shot if I get some free time but not in the next few weeks, sorry.
