    Hello
I moved my site from one domain (and host) to another domain.
In the frontpage everyting seems fine, but in the backend of wordpress no posts are displayed (although on top of the page the number of posts all (63) is displayed)
    media is empty too
    but comments are all there

Posts and comments and everything is visible in the mysql database

Do you have any idea what I can do?
Thank you very much for your support
    Michael

  • How did you move your website from one domain/hosting to another? The thing is that if you haven’t properly changed the urls in the database, it could lead to what you’re experiencing now…

    Hello sinip
    thanks for your answer.
I copied the files via ftp
and exported and imported an sql dump in phpmyadmin
I changed the URLs by “Velvet Blues Update URLs” (search and replace tool)
and updated the “Home” URL in the options table via phpmyadmin
    ciao

The only thing I might think of is that not all urls got changed, or you omitted or inserted www in the url (compared to the previous one).

    Hi sinip
But even if the URLs are not changed, I think I should see the posts in the backend, because they are in the database?!?
and the number of posts is displayed….
    strange

You could try going through https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL and see how it compares with your website.

    It drove me crazy
It was a plugin (Event Calendar Version 3.1.4 | Von Alex Tingle | )
    that caused the mess.
    On deactivating everyting went fine….
    Thanks for your support
