I guess many of us do want a clean source code without advertising or plugin infos in it.
Every time I update to a newer version of WordPress SEO I have to go to the frontend/class-frontend.php and delete these phrases:
“This site is optimized with the Yoast WordPress SEO” and “Yoast WordPress SEO plugin.”
Thanks for the plugin, yes, it is for free (like many other plugins), but other plugins do ask if they may put some advertising info or not… WordPress SEO does it without asking.
Could you please deliver an option for that so that the user can decide if those infos shall appear or not?
I GUESS, you will answer with “No, I will not, you have to delete it every time again after every update”, but I would not see the sense in it. If people don´t want it – and many do not want to show these infos at all – it would make MUCH more sense to put such an option to the plugin, because those people will anyway delete the info every time again. But this way it would be just ONE click instead of “every time again and again”.
