No Perms in Elementor-Post-Navigation-Widget
-
hiho,
i set up a page with glossary and elementor. since round about one month the perma-links doesn’t work anymore/ aren’t shown in the navigation-bar from elementor (the title etc. works fine, but the link isn’t set.)
i just ask the elementor support, and they looked at the page and said the following:
Since this is a custom post type made with the Glossary plugin this is something the plugin author needs to look at. It seems like there is a conflict when elementor tries to apply the single post template. Unfortunately, the plugin author must solve this or if he needs help he can contact us via GitHub. You can use a Customs post type plugin and create another post type for testing and see if the pagination works properly there. Also, this might be a plugin conflict too, in that case, you will need to disable other plugins and check if the issue persists.
we would be very happy, if we could fix this issue, because we don’t feel like putting all the links manually between the terms ^^
best regards and thx for reading (and hopefully helping :D),

Hi,
we are happy to support but we need few more informations before trying to understand the situation.
In the page I see few tooltips https://institut-sommer.de/lexikon/burnout-praevention/ so for me is not clear what is the issue.
In what area of the website the tooltips are not printed?hi,
yeah, sry.. i just missed an picture upload to show the problem .. here a picture to the problem: http://dingoo.designer-brand.de/17-12-_2018_17-35-20.png
the problem is, that we have the navigation-widget/ snipped (here in the card-footer), that normally shows the next or previous article/ glossary-term .. and the title is shown, but the link isn’t set correct .. the link is just set to the host+slug , instead of: host+slug+perm .. so:
correct would be like: https://institut-sommer.de/lexikon/challenges/
but actually it creates: https://institut-sommer.de/lexikon/ (glossary-overview-page)adn it works perfectly fine a week (or so) before, but not anymore =/
Understood seems that the problem is something in your template.
That page is built by your theme?
This doesn’t seems a problem of Glossary or Elementor but of your theme that doesn’t support custom post type.hm.. i just change the whole template into another one .. and still the same problem =/
i’ve now the “Page Builder Framework” Theme with an selfmade-childtheme (just with css)
the think is (in the old theme also), that the link will shown correctly in the elementor-edit-mode .. but, as i said, not in the “frontend”: http://dingoo.designer-brand.de/18-12-_2018_01-16-59.png
do u have any idea, why this is happening? =/
Can you send the access to the website as admin to support@codeat.it?
Seems that is something about how elementor interact with other plugins.done. .. but the email-address isn’t responding correct .. sure, that the address is correct? =/
