Got it in slider, need to add 1 more container to make all blocks center then use in dimensions fixed which is bigger to act as margin top and bottom. It is faster to do than old version but there is a learning curve and really need to explore all settings.

Hi @alonagomez,
Thank you for reaching out, and I’m glad you found a way around it.
Most Spectra blocks, like the Container and the Slider, still have a margin setting. It’s hidden by default, so you turn it on from the Styles tab in the right sidebar. Click the three dots at the top of the Dimensions panel and tick Margin.
The Slide inside the Slider doesn’t have a margin setting. If you want a margin around a Slide, add padding to the Slider instead. It gives the same result.
- Select the Slider block.
- In the right sidebar, open the Styles tab.
- In the Dimensions panel, set the Padding. If you don’t see Padding, click the three dots on the panel and tick it.
I recorded a short screencast that shows these steps: https://d.pr/v/gpTsry
You’re right that the new version works a bit differently, and it takes a little time to learn where everything lives. If you have questions about any other setting, feel free to post them here, and we will be happy to help.
Have a great day ahead!
I am using the BuddyBoss theme the spectra blocks dimension do not look like yours which is similar to the legacy. The dimensions either look like the grow / fit, etc. or height/min/max. I have not tried it in Astra maybe it look like yours?
I hope you will put back the S (Spectra Custom CSS) in the Spectra Blocks to customize the CSS of every page.
Update:
I tried it in Astra it shows the Padding and Margins setting but it is not fully compatible with the BuddyBoss theme because no Padding and Margins setting.

Hi @alonagomez,
Thank you for testing this on both themes and sharing what you found.
I replied to the new topic you created about the BuddyBoss theme with details on why Padding and Margin are missing. To keep everything in one place, let’s continue the conversation there.
