    Hi Daan,

    I have been using your plugin on a lot of sites now and mostly without issues or at least they got resolved. On this new project I can’t understand why the plugin does not detect a single font. I have tested with Twenty Twenty One theme and Elementor Free+Pro and OMGF plugins. I remember from another support post here, there is some kind of url I need to inspect that shows some variables, I can’t remember, or maybe I am just confusing with another plugin, don’t know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    This is the notice I get:

    No (additional) Google Fonts found to optimize.

  • What did you do to resolve the issue? I’m facing the same now. It can’t detect fonts on my site.

    Hi guys, and @puregraphx, sorry for leaving you hanging for so long. It’s been a crazy busy few months.

    @puregraphx,

    The reason why OMGF can’t detect the fonts is because they’re being called using @font-face statements, which isn’t according to WordPress’ conventions of loading a stylesheet. Due to WordPress’ coding standards (and repository restrictions) the Free version doesn’t scan ‘outside’ of these conventions.

    You should consider upgrading to OMGF Pro. The Pro version gets a little more creative and scans for fonts loaded through @font-face, @import statements and Web Font Loader.

    @deewinc,

    Would you mind sharing your URL? That way I can see a bit more of what’s going on 🙂 If you don’t want to share it here, send it me using this contact form.

    Ok, good to know. This site uses another Theme than we default Hello Theme we use, had no idea it would load the fonts differently.
