No emails sent on backup completion

I have the email cron log to: option enabled and verified that the correct email is in the field.

After running the backup from a crontab no email is sent.

All other emails within the WP system work fine.

I redirected the output of the crontab to a separate file because the xcloner.log doesn’t capture crontab output.

My log says that an email has been sent:
