me too, i am not getting an email when a comment comes in on my photos, did something change?
Ah, someone else with the same problem. It is very annoying. I found 5 Comments a week old, by chance, and didn’t know. One can’t keep checking the Comments feature all the time. And it is counter-productive not to answer, fast. I think people expect a fast response. In fact, mine expect an email notification when i respond to their post, which doesn’t happen. But when nothing happens, ouch.
I do hope we can get some help to fix this soon.
I just received an email confirmation from ccc and it did post. But when I went back to the Comments box, it was not there. In fact, my Comments page is empty of any actual Comments. So I can’t edit or research.
But does this mean the feature is now working and admin fixed it???
I also received a notification from you, Johnny that you posted a response.
I responded with a yyyy and it did work, I got an email notification.
So THANK YOU admin.
Have to have someone else test now, and respond and see if
the Comments stay on the Page or Vanish.

I just verified that emailing works properly. Check your settings.
Thank you. Yes, I am now getting Email Notifications when someone posts.
But
I got no Email confirmation with my response,
which is one up, I guess, since I at least know I responded – even if I have to go the Admin folder and wait for the wheel to turn forever and forever
before I can activate my response, rather than just click the link on the email notification to go straight there.
And
the whole Comment, all of them, now
VANISH from the Comments folder the moment I click Pending to Approve – so I can’t go back and Edit or Research, which I used to do and need to do sometimes, and can do on my WP Comments still.
Case in point. Because the there is nothing in the Comments box on Admin, I can’t delete the ccc test post sent or the yyy response. See below. So they are sitting there looking silly !!!

@ 12Bucle. You did not upgrade since october 2015 ( running 6.3.07 ) so if the email stopped recently, it is NOT caused by WPPA.

If you do not see the recent comments, set on the photo albums->comments page Display status: to all, and display order to timestamp. Then you can delete them.

Suddenly, I am not receiving email notifications when people Comment on my WPPA+ albums. I am receiving email notifications when people Comment on my Blog, which is WP.
Also when I do go looking, as soon as I click Pending to Approved, the Comments do appear and stay on the website, but they vanish immediately from the dashboard, so I can’t go back and Edit, or see them ever again.
This did happen once before and the problem was solved but can’t seem to now.
Can you tell me what to do?
