Yes our email system is working.
On user registration, on forgot password, on contact form.
We also tried to use Wp SMTP, and test email sending using SMTP is working.
If buyer pay using paypal express, the woocommerce sends out an email as well as paypal perfectly.
But if buyer uses stripe cc plugin, they do not receive an email from woocommerce, only from stripe.
This is not good as we want client to receive a confirmation email from the woocommerce system. As well as the customer.
I’m facing the same issue but the customer is receiving no email from purchases made via stripe – any update on this?
Same issue here! Thanks for answering. I would need the same confirmation emails as I get when ppl pay via paypal or bank transfer!
Hi,
I get the same issue. I am testing the Stripe payment method on my site using Woocommerce. I made a transaction in test mode: everything was fine, I receive an email confirming the transaction, but the customer email address (which is functional) did not receive anything. More important: I sell sell digital goods that must be downloaded. Thus, if the customer do not receive any email, it also means he doesn’t receive his order…
I don’t understand why this thread is marked as “Resolved” as there is no solution in any reply and 3 persons plus me having the same problem…
Yeah, same here.
When a purchase is made via Stripe, we don’t get order confirmation emails from WooCommerce – only stripe. We don’t want emails from Stripe, we want emails from WooCommerce.
Is there no solution to this?
