  • Hey,
    you are installing new wordpress?
wordpress doest take that much time. its hardly take to 15 mins to install.
if you install new wordpress then you also install it manually like you can download wordpress from wordpress.org and upload it into your public_html folder aand then create a database. from cpanel.

i downloaded wordpress though the quickinstall offered by hostgator. the quickinstall page says:

    Congratulations!
Your installation is ready. You can access it now by going here. If there is any login information, it will have been sent to the email address you provided.
    Admin Area: http://koinokalo.com/wp-admin
    Username: admin

i watched a tutorial on how to begin building your webpage, and according to that i should be able to simply go to http://koinokalo.com/wp-admin and be on my way with it. when i do visit my web page, the unhappy paper, or document image with the text “no data received” is still present.

do i need to install wordpress through wordpress.com too? and i imagine i installed the new wordpress… version 4.0 is what i’m working with. thank you akshayrajoria for the help. still struggling with what to do next though :/

I am also having the same problem…on my Cpanel It shows that I have installed wordpress successfully, but when I try to access the website and admin section it shows a blank page with a ” No Data Received” message or sign.

    wordpress people. please help us

Seems to be working fine now 🙂

If you had just recently purchased the domain and hosting, it can take up to 48 hours to become available; this is normal.
