We got this integrated and it worked now, we get the following:

    Missing Ecommerce Data error
View All Web Site Data is configured for Ecommerce, but no data is flowing.

We also have monster insights installed, are they clashing perhaps?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

View All Web Site Data is configured for Ecommerce, but no data is flowing.

Can you let us know what tracking option you have enabled for the plugin: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/google-analytics-integration/#tracking-options ? What do you have selected for the Standard Tracking and Universal Tracking options?

Try disabling the Standard Tracking setting and keeping the Universal Tracking setting enabled to see if that helps.

Yes, I would suggest checking that. If disabling the Standard Tracking setting and keeping the Universal Tracking setting enabled doesn’t help, then I would try de-activating the Monster Insights plugin to see if you start getting information sent to your account.

Also, please make sure if you’re testing that you are not logged into your Admin account, as those events will not be tracked. We recommend making sure you have a customer or non-logged in account to test.

If things still aren’t working, this kind of problem can be caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Ok so i switched the Standard switch to off and had GA check again, i get the same message, so I also removed monster insights, and added the code in the header the old school way!

In the beginning when implemeted it was working but then stopped, so im not sure why it stopped?!

Also was there not a universal option before in GA?

Could it help to deactivate and re-activate the plugin perhaps?

The fact that it worked before and suddenly stopped points towards a conflict. As Zach had mentioned sometimes themes and plugins can cause conflicts that prevent the normal functionality.

What I would recommend is following our guide on how to test for conflicts here:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/#section-4

Since that will impact the look and functionality of your site, you may want to set up a staging site to run those tests on and temporarily configure that with your Google Analytics account.

On the staging site switch to the Twenty Nineteen or Storefront theme, then disable ALL plugins, except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Google Analytics. Then test again and let us know if that helps.
