In essence I bought the plugin before I connected my domain to the site. The licence needs applying to my new website. If this cannot be done please issue a refund.
Thanks
Taz
I’m not 100% sure if I understand this correctly but to activate your license on one of your websites, you would simply follow the steps outlined here – https://ultimatedashboard.io/docs/installation-license-activation/
Not having your domain connected to the site previously isn’t an issue. If we detect a domain name change, there should pop up a warning in your admin area, asking you to re-validate your license key.
If you have activated the license key before mapping it to your domain, you can either hit the “Re-validate” button under Ultimate Dash -> License in your WordPress backend or follow these steps:
- Remove your license key
- hit save
- re-enter your license key
- hit save (not activate!)
- after the page has refreshed, hit activate
I hope that answered your question. If not, please let me know 🙂
Cheers,
David
Hi David
I activated the licence to an IONOS temporary domain before I connected my domain. After connecting my domain to the site I now get the following message ‘License key mismatch!
Please revalidate your licence key for Ultimate Dashboard PRO.’
Yes, I’ve attempted to deactivate several times but nothing happens. I’ve also attempted to revalidate and it says ‘Your license key has reached its activation limit’. Is there a separate option from deactivate to remove? Please can you email me to resolve this? My email is attached to the support forms I submitted.
Best
Taz
