Hi,
Thank you for reaching out, using Live Carts and for your great suggestion! We love the idea of adding a sidebar with the customer’s recent orders and will definitely implement this feature soon.
Regarding the issue with “Converted” carts: we are currently unable to replicate this bug on our end. To help us investigate and rule out any plugin conflicts, could you please send us your Site Health info (System Status)? This will also provide us with crucial details about the plugin and software versions you are running.
Additionally, could you let us know whether you are using the traditional Shortcode checkout or the new Gutenberg blocks checkout?
Looking forward to your reply so we can get this quickly sorted out for you!
Best, Anna Widera
Thank you for the quick reply.
I’d prefer not to post my full System Status publicly. Is there a private way I can send it?
Hi, I’m the developer – the site is using a classic PHP template with shortcode, no blocks.
Hi, thanks for the details.
Live Carts detects conversions through WooCommerce’s core order/cart hooks (woocommerce_order_status_changed, woocommerce_cart_loaded_from_session), so a classic PHP/shortcode template on its own shouldn’t stop conversions from being recorded.
Because we can’t reproduce it here, it’s most likely tied to your checkout/payment flow (e.g. the order not passing through the “pending” status, or the cart being cleared before the status change) or a plugin conflict.
The quickest way to pinpoint it is our built-in debug log:
1. Go to Live Carts → Status, enable Debug logging and set the level to All.
2. Place one test order end-to-end so it reaches a paid status.
3. Copy or download the debug log
To keep things private, you can send the debug log and your System Status through our support platform: https://help.berrypress.com/open.php – we’ll take it from there. Thanks!
Thanks for the prompt support.
I have provided the System Status and Error Debug through your support portal.
Hi @oomatty,
Thank you again for your help and for providing the debug log and System Status through our support portal.
We’ve continued troubleshooting this with you privately and provided a beta version of the plugin to address the issue. Since we’re now handling this directly via our support system, I’ll go ahead and mark this topic as resolved.
If you have any further questions or run into anything else, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Thanks again for your cooperation and for helping us improve the plugin!
