No Bold or italic formatting

    I’ve sent html posts from Mac mail, outlook (pc) and gmail and all use <b> for bold and <i> for italic rather than and and hense display as normal.

    Is there a way to add code in the email to resolve this or do you know of an email client that uses the same formatting markup as wordpress?

    You may have Postie set to use the plain text version of the email. Check your settings to ensure “HTML” is selected.
