While the Upload Video button is currently one file at a time, you can already do a batch upload by dragging and dropping multiple video files straight into your VideoPress library, which handles batch upload.
We’ve also just merged a fix so the Upload Video button’s file picker itself will let you select multiple files at once. Keep an eye for it in the next update!

Only one more thing I would need for 5 stars: a VideoPress playlist block of some kind, please and thanks? Perhaps a block that inserts a certain playlist or collection of videos. The collection can be modified on the backend and it automatically updates on the front end. I would love to hear it’s in development? I used to do this with Vimeo but ended my subscription to them because of horrible customer service experiences. But I do need those playlists!
Right now there isn’t a dedicated playlist or collection block for VideoPress, so the closest you can get is placing multiple VideoPress blocks in order on a page, or using the playlist shortcode (a WordPress core feature, see guide).
