An issue with the new Attachments version, or is it just me?
I have 9 custom post types, and in the old version you could tick, where to show the attchments metabox.
After updating, adding the define(); line in wp-config and adding the new metabox code to the functions (yes, i also added the cpt’s into the array), the metabox comes up, but there are no attachments shown, thou there should be.
And this is funny, when i don’t add my custom metabox, but use the default one, then on post and pages it shows the attachments.
Did you run the migration script to move your old data to the new format? If so, did you use the defaults in the form fields? If you did, the instance name is
attachmentsbut if you copied and pasted a snippet it might be using
my_attachmentswhen it should be using
attachments, give that a whirl!
Great, you’re welcome, I’ll be elaborating on the documentation to make that more clear in the future.
Also if you wouldn’t mind taking a moment to review Attachments I’d be very thankful!
i need your urgent help, i did the migration but i am not sure that i used the default values and now it showing that You have already migrated your legacy Attachments data.
but now custom post not showing the attachment option, please suggest how to resolve this issue.
Please see this comment above, did you check that?
