no action progress shown anymore

    Since updating to 3.52, I can’t see any notifications/progress in the dashboard area of any any action I run. I can’t see uploads, plugin updates or installs, backup progress; anything. Even with refreshing the page. I used to see what was going on or how things were progressing in 3.51

    Anyone else run across this or found a fix? I don’t have any error notifications, or any other reason to feel anything is wrong/broken etc.
    My site runs fine, just wish I knew if the process is finished or if anything failed. Can’t see it.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
