    Hi @jetjungle2026

Thanks for reaching out to us.

We checked this concern on our test site but were unable to reproduce the issue. The high CPU spikes are typically caused by background tasks like WooCommerce Action Scheduler queues, database indexing, or high bot traffic. The ELEX WooCommerce Catalog Mode plugin is lightweight and strictly handles UI button and price hiding without running background processes or API calls.

Since the hosting resource lock has frozen your WP Admin buttons, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    1.  Temporarily rename the plugin folder via FTP or your File Manager (located at wp-content/plugins/) to regain access to your dashboard.
    2.  Once logged in, check your server’s error.log or enable WP_DEBUG_LOG in your wp-config.php file to pinpoint the specific script triggering the server throttling.

Please share the error log details with us, and we will be glad to help you identify the root cause.
