• Hi there,

I’ve installed the plugin NinjaFirewall (WP Edition) for protection.
It was working well for months with login protection using “Captcha image”.

But now I can’t get into the WordPress backend because I can’t log in: after logging in, the “Captcha” appears, but after numerous attempts I am unable to log in because after carefully entering the letters and numbers of the image and then clicking on “Login Page” nothing happens except that I get a new Captcha image.

As described in this thread: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/ninjafirewall-login-protection-problem-2/ I deleted Browser-Cache and the file bf_conf.php

    Wich unfortunately didn’t help 🙁

    Thanks a lot in advance!

    Marc

If you deleted the bf_conf.php and the captcha was still there, it would mean there’s likely another instance of NinjaFirewall installed in a parent directory and it is that instance that displays the captcha.
Do you have other sites protected by NF on that account?

Can you run the troubleshooter script?
    1. Download the script: https://nintechnet.com/share/wp-check.txt
    2. Rename it to “wp-check.php”.
    3. Over FTP, upload it into your WordPress root folder.
    4. Go to https://YOUR WEBSITE/wp-check.php
    5. Delete the script afterwards.

Please paste the results of the troubleshooter script here.
