So instead of custom settings, I could use the default block editor to set typography, colors, margins, padding, border etc.
That of course means to rewrite much of the plugin, but it would probably be better in the long run. First it would be consistent with the rest of WordPress. It would also fix any responsivity issues (as the theme would handle that) and make it easier to create nice designs (using cover block for instance would be nice) for the users.

    Hi there,

Apologies for not responding earlier, looks like I missed this one.

I wanted to let you know that I just released version 2.2.5 to ensure compatibility with WordPress 6.2 and as you suggested I also used the default translation for “Read More” included in core, so that someone doesn’t have to necessarily create a new template just to translate that button text.

The Template Editor is meant to be a simple tool for non-developers to be able to make some changes and style things to their liking. Basically not restricting to a handful of templates that we create ourselves.

Could you clarify what kind “new blocks” you’re looking for specifically or what you were trying to achieve?

I know it’s been a while, but I would still appreciate any feedback you could give me.

    Thanks,
    Brecht
