    Hi,

I’m having an issue with iThemes Security on nginx with the nginx.conf location.

I currently have my nginx.conf file located outside of the public directory, however I can’t seem to get iThemes Security to regognise that.
I have updated the setting for “NGINX Conf File” to the correct path however it still insists on creating the nginx.conf in the public root folder. Other plugins detect this correctly, so I know that it has write access to it.

Does anyone know if this is a bug, or if I’m missing something here?

    Thanks,
    Rob

Yes, this is a known bug which was introduced in the 4.8.0 (and higher) release.

You would probably need to downgrade to the 4.6.13 release to make this work again.

Alternatively you may find something usefull in this topic.

If the above info answers your question please mark this topic as ‘resolved’.
