ngg_featured folder

    I was doing a FTP process this a.m. and noticed this folder:
    wp-content/uploads/ngg_featured.

    So I Googled ( ngg_featured folder ) and came across 9 pages (9080 results… better than 80% of these results were indexes of same folder showing other websites with their photos).

    What gives? Should this folder be deleted? Where did it come from? Do we need it?

    @papa_steve, that folder is just what it looks, it’s for NextGEN featured images that you may choose for your posts/pages.
    Use it or not is your choice, but if you don’t, it will be empty.

    @tizz – Thanks!

    @papa_steve – Just as tizz explained, this is a standard item in NextGEN Gallery and will only exist/be used if you are using the Set NextGEN Featured image functionality.
