NGG 3.0 Edit Thumbnail confusing screen

Using the latest NextGEN Gallery 3.0 and attempting to edit a thumbnail has a confusing interface. When the desired area is selected and Update button is clicked, the message that says something like Thumbnail Updated is outside the window area below the button. I got on to it by noticing the scroll bar appearing and then disappearing. The preferred way of doing this, in my opinion, is to make the message appear either next to the button and not disappear after a second or two, or to replace the button with the message that should remain visible. If a new selection is made, the button should appear again.
