I love the plugin but one client has a nexus 10 that she wishes to be served the desktop version of the site on (the site has drop-down menus). Her viewport is evidently too wide (even in portrait orientation) for the drop-down menu to disappear and for the responsive menu to appear even if I set the breakpoint at 850px.

With tablets getting tighter and tighter pixel counts can I choose to serve the responsive menu based on browser or device like I do for serving the mobile site?

  • Hi WDOrkoskey,

You could edit the outputted CSS file if you wish to change this value as it is not something that is currently supported in the plugin, however this would be over-written on every upgrade/option save.

This is a Responsive Menu plug-in which is to target Responsive designs based on the browser size rather than device specific unfortunately.

You can of course copy over the CSS created by the plug-in and change some values and include it after to over-write the main styles if you wish.

    Many thanks
