nexttgen mosiac thumbs not loading

Hello, I am trying to add the social Gallery light box to nextgen on a website, I can get the two plugin’s to work together, though only by using the nextgen basic thumbs. I really want to use the mosiac thumbs.
so far if i use the directions from social gallery, they say to select none for the lightbox in nextgen lightbox settings. the problem with this is, when i select this option the gallery doesn’t display any thumbs to click on.
my other option thus far has been to target the .nextgen_pro_lightbox or whatever other lightbox is enabled, in the social gallery plugin and I can get the desired lightbox to open, the problem is I get two lightboxes.
I was thinking of suppressing the nextgen light box with css, but there has to be a better way.can anyone tell me why if i select none for the lightbox in nextgen options i do not get any thumbnails when i use the mosiac gallery?
