Nextgen Thumbnail spacing and layout

Hi, I have searched for my issue and found some solutions, but am wary as a beginner so may I ask… I would like to have a “good” amount of white space all around each thumbnail. Ideally I’d like to be able to experiment a little to find the amount I’m happy with.
Secondly the page quoted above has the setting of showing all of each thumbnail. But the page below does not, could someone point me towards where to look to make it the same as the 1980s folder please? I know it may bs CSS, which I know little about but am confident to copy/paste !

Thanks Cais – I did that and redid the thumbs, now much better. But how can I get some horizontal white space between each thumb please? Also can you see those two “orphaned” thumbs at the bottom of the page? Would you know what causes that?

I have no vertical spacing between my thumbnails in nextgen galleries. I have spacing on the sides, but nothing from tops and bottoms. How can I add vertical spacing? This is a sample of my gallery page. I tried making changes through my develpoer tools as you stated earlier, but no luck. Any help?
