Nextgen templates

Hi there,

Thought I’d do the simple task of creating and editing a template for nextgen. I had assumed this would be similar to creating a page template, or nextgen custom css. I can find no documentation on this, even here:

Where ARE the templates in the nextgen plugin folder?

Can they be saved into the theme folder for editing (like most template able plugins these days)?

Photocrati, if you are reading this, your info is over two years out of date and looks like it was put together on a ‘Friday Afternoon’ (i.e. it is a bit rubbish, sorry!).

Which WP warns hasn’t been updated in over two years…

The other link about templates you have is:

Which is, for no reason at all, target _blank???

This page is hard to understand and again offers no real templating advice, or even very clear instruction for shortcakes (which won’t work in my case).

Could you please put some info up on how to make custom templates. The built in ones don’t suit my purpose or semantic requirements – thanks.
