[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] NextGEN Gallery link individual images HELP!!!

Okay so I know I am probably WAAAYYY behind on the times on this but I really need a good gallery that I can link individual images to separate URLS (for ex: for a clothing item to link to the site where you could buy it).

I am using the NextGEN gallery because I heard it was the best and then I downloaded the NextGEN custom fields (that’s what I have read to do) but all the tutorials are years old and not helpful now with updated versions.

Someone please, in simple terms tell me how I can link these individual images, I know it is possible just have no clue how. Thanks in advance!!!
