Hi, I’ll be glad to help.
I see you are using a CDN on your server, please deactivate it and try again, even if your site might have been working with that for some time, Nextgen Gallery does not support any CDN officially.
Also make sure you stay up to date with our requirements https://www.imagely.com/docs/requirements/
Also always check for conflicts by disabling your other plugins, performing any failed actions again, and if you are successful this time, reactivate one plugin at a time and try after again to find the conflicting plugin.
Please keep me posted.
Hi Jaime
I am very new to wordpress not not sure what you mean by CDN where would I find this
jackHi @forresjack.
CDN (Content Delivery Network) is a highly-distributed platform of servers that helps minimize delays in loading web page content by reducing the physical distance between the server and the user. This helps users around the world view the same high-quality content without slow loading times.
Sometimes that’s implemented via a performance plugin like Autoptimize, W3 Total Cache etc that has options enabling CDN for the media files or it can be hosting side ( in the last case, you’d need to check with your hosting provider’s support to ensure CDN is disabled for the media/images )
mihai
thanks for getting back to me still have the problem, we do not have ang plugins< like Autoptimize, W3 Total Cache etc
the WordPress basic package we have, the host said we are not using a CDN, as the domain is directly pointed to the server related to the WordPress package.
When we try to add or make new gallery we get no images were uploaded successfully. image… jpg failed to upload thumbnail generation failed, not sure what to do.
jackHi @forresjack,
Can you please let us know if you had a chance to test for a plugin conflict:
1) Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery and NextGEN Gallery Pro.
2) Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.
3) If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could conflict with your current theme.Note: We recommend performing a full website backup before any troubleshooting.
Hi Mihai
I temporarily deactivated all plugins except NexGen Gallery.
I already changed to WordPress Twenty Seventeen theme.
I have tried uploading from WordPress Media
I have updated NexGen Gallery to version 3.16, I am able to upload image but doesn’t create thumbnails.
average image size 600px x 450px 92.8 KB`Hi Mihai
I Have also notice that there is Failed to load resource: net::ERR_FAILED
highlandclassicmotorcycleclub.co.uk/:1 Access to font at from origin ‘https://highlandclassicmotorcycleclub.co.uk’ has been blocked by CORS policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource.
could this be the problemHi @forresjack,
If you wouldn’t mind, please reach our support service directly at https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/ and we’ll try to debug it.
