NextGen Gallery doesn't display text/descriptions under thumbnails

    Hi,
    I was wondering if there is a way to display the title and the description of an image underneath the thumbnails on my website.
    It should also appear in the slideshow.

    There are already several questions on this topic, but is there any possibility to display the caption in a carousel?
    I am aware that you have to add [ nggallery id=1 template=caption ] to depict the caption or [ nggallery id=1 template=carousel ] to depict the carousel. But how can you display both? Is it even possible?

    It would also be nice if there was some kind button you can click on to show the next image.
