    @the Hack Repair Guy – We don’t specifically test with “Lightspeed” but you are welcome to send us a Bug Report (http://nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get a better look under the page at your site. Please also include any specifics you may have as well.

    We may need temporary log in (and FTP) credentials for your WordPress installation, please consider those for your Bug Report, too.

    @photocrati, Can you make more effort to debug these issues on the forums? It’s not right to ask for login details, especially FTP credentials from a query on these forums.

    Thank you. I’ve removed the plugin for now in order to move forward. I’ll be sure to submit another report if I run into it again. Thanks again for the kind offer to review server wise.

    I’m not specifically asking for credentials to the user’s site, I am suggesting they keep it in mind as it may be necessary and I would rather have that happen off these forums no matter the case.

    As it is, I recommend a Bug Report be submitted any time I see the issue as not being solvable within the confines of these forums (which unfortunately the complete and near utter lack of tools here makes this a very common event).

    You can of course do what you want privately. It has become too common now on the forums for people to ask for login details, so please don’t mention it unless you absolutely must – and then we’ll step in 😉

    @andrew – We only ask for a Bug Report to be sent when we feel we have exhausted any opportunity for a resolution in these forums.

    We absolutely agree the best place to provide community support for a plugin hosted on the WordPress Plugins repository is in these forums but there is unfortunately only so much that can be done here.

    Thanks for taking the time to look in here at random intervals! We do appreciate the extra set of eyes. We’re here almost every day so if you have any additional concerns please bring them up to us directly as we would find it best not to potentially derail any topic if possible.

    Sorry I only signed up to moderate the forums. If you want to discuss the forum guidelines I recommend setting up a thread on the Requests and Feedback forum. That’ll avoid derailing someone else’s topic.
