NextGEN Gallery Crashes Site

    I have updated to WordPress 2.8 and downloaded NextGEN 1.3.3. It was working fine until I added a new gallery and album. Now the site is gone. No 404 error just gone. I disabled all plug-ins and it reappeared. I enabled NextGEN 1.3.3 (and also deleted and reinstalled it) and the site disappears. I have over three hundred posts using NextGEN with the Smooth Gallery plug-in and now all I see is the Smooth Gallery code on the page because the site disappears when I Activate the NextGEN 1.3.3 plugin.
    Does anyone have a work around? Photos are a big part of my site.

    I found that the Gallery 2 plug-in was also active. When this was deactivated the site worked fine. I deleted the plug-in and reinstalled and all works fine now. I think that not all the plug-ins were deactivated when I upgraded to WP 2.8.
